Wow, it is early January of 2012 already! We at the Orthman Research Farm entered several trials with three corn breeding companies in 2011 which is just behind us, to look at what would happen under an irrigated scenario when we late apply N,S and Micros. This report shows the two replications with average yields reported how the late vs non in the Platte River Valley.

We thank the three companies for participating in this study and looking at different corn hybrid lines to see what would happen with strip-till as the foundation and a late doe of fertilizers. We were seeing how much did parent lines differ when given a dose of food right after pollen-drop was finished.
